STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT AND TECHNICAL MEASURES ADOPTED

At LA BRASA DEL DIPLO, we take information accessibility very seriously and are firmly committed to making our website as accessible as possible, in accordance with current international accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

As of June 3, 2026, coinciding with the advanced audit, performance optimization, and delivery of the website’s technical development, the native implementation of the following accessibility and usability measures and infrastructure is hereby certified:

• Dynamic injection of accessibility labels (WAI-ARIA): An automated code injection system has been integrated using specialized scripts that assign attributes aria-label descriptive labels for complex dynamic elements, such as date and time fields in forms (Contact Form 7) and internal links in external event management widgets. This ensures that any assistive technology or screen reader can interpret the interface without any issues.
• Dynamic Accessibility Toolbar (User Control): The website has been equipped with a floating interactive accessibility panel that allows users to customize the interface in real time. Using this feature, any user can independently adjust font scaling and size for comfortable reading, as well as enable high-contrast mode to adapt the display to their individual needs and reduce visual barriers.
• Adaptive semantic structuring (Main Landmark): The website's site map has been natively modified to implement the modern hierarchical tag <main> as required by international validators, ensuring that search engines and assistive technologies can immediately and clearly identify the core of the main content.
• Optimization and Behavior of Skip Links: The template's stylesheet has been configured and optimized to ensure that the "Skip to content" link in the navigation menu responds with absolute priority when the keyboard focus is placed on it (:focus), allowing users with motor or visual impairments to instantly skip repetitive menus in a visible way.
• Web Performance Optimization (WPO): The website uses the advanced technology of the Converter for Media engine, which processes and serves 100% of the image library in state-of-the-art WebP formats. This reduces file sizes while balancing speed with accessibility on mobile devices.
• Non-blocking code and cache management: Through the coordinated processing cores of Autoptimize and WP Super Cache, source code bloat has been minimized, requests that block rendering have been optimized, and Google Fonts have been natively configured under the font-display: swap, completely eliminating delays in text display.
• Basic typographic readability: A font architecture has been established in the layout system to ensure that text sizes meet the minimum recommended standards for comfortable reading, avoiding font sizes smaller than 14px–16px in content blocks and main descriptions.
• Manual audit and labeling of visual media: All images included in the initial website design have been manually viewed, reviewed, and tagged, with alt text assigned to each one (alt) with precise textual descriptions to ensure they are interpreted correctly by screen readers.

As a demonstration of transparency and technical rigor, we have attached the official results from the latest Google Lighthouse automated audit conducted following the optimization of our technical infrastructure, which certifies our outstanding compliance with accessibility guidelines on both desktop and mobile devices:

The website is reviewed on a regular basis with the aim of progressively improving its accessibility and user experience, incorporating technical and design improvements as web standards evolve.

EXCEPTIONS AND TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Despite the efforts and technical infrastructure implemented on the website as of the last optimization, there are certain elements and scenarios that are explicitly excluded from the direct responsibility of the developer/designer and become the sole responsibility of the client or external vendors:

• Corporate Identity Manual and Color Schemes: Color schemes, color combinations in menus, backgrounds, and typefaces strictly adhere to the brand identity guidelines approved and required by the corporate entity. The official brand identity chosen by the client will always take precedence in the visual layout.
• Future Content, Changes, and Maintenance: This technical and textual optimization applies solely and exclusively to the architecture and content in place as of the date of the last audit conducted on June 3, 2026. Any image, text, menu, price, or link that is uploaded, edited, or modified at a later date by company staff must independently comply with accessibility guidelines (such as the manual inclusion of descriptive text alt (in any new images added to the menu). The developer is not liable for any loss of compliance resulting from subsequent modifications to the site.
• Third-Party Tools and External Code: The website may integrate third-party automated booking systems, online payment gateways, or interactive maps (such as Google Maps), whose native code and scripts are solely controlled by their respective global technology providers and cannot be modified by the developer.
